I have seen in the British 'Penguin Guide' mention of Karajan's EMI Wagner Preludes and Overtures being available on an SACD. Anyone heard it? And does it, as is suggested in the Guide, play with noticeably greater clarity and presence on an ordinary CD player?

It's a DVD-A release, not an SACD. (There is no SACD of this title AFAIK.) It won't play at all on an ordinary CD player.
