Hi Yara Mery,

Since there are many pianos that have the name Cable in them, Cable, Cable-Nelson, Conover-Cable, Hobart Cable, the dates can be kind of mixed up.

Without seeing the name on the soundboard, the closest serial number goes with the latest date I have access to is later than 1987. So your piano with the serial number is younger than that.

Often lists aren't complete in the more modern years, so dating becomes more difficult. Consult your local piano technician or retailer, as they may hvae more information.

Is that fitting to your instrument?

Let me know please?

Best wishes,
~B~

thx Broccoli for getting back to me. i came up with same dating from my internet search. FYI the word CABLE is on the cover for keys and with in letters is a lyre harp around the B. I am unsure if it is a Cable or Aeola manufacturer. the sound is excellent tho my knees barely fit under keyboard. could it be a childs piano?
thanks again. i will tell my friends about you.
