Hello, I'm considering shipping my Yamaha 1975 G1 across the country (US, east coast to west coast), but was not sure if it would justify the price of the piano. I would expect the shipping to be a bit over $1000, judging from the past discussions i've found on google.
Does anyone have a piano atlas that has the price of my Yamaha? The serial number is #1923593. It was made in 1975, Japanese-made, I believe. The piano is in great condition, and I would certainly have it given a full tune-up before selling it.
THanks very much for any information or advice you can give me!

My sister has the family's 1970 G1 (walnut case) and has taken good care of it, but never had any major work done on it. It is still a great looking piece of furniture, but is worn out as a piano; it sounds and plays worse than a variety digital pianos in the $1000 price range. Your piano may be different, but I think that that would make it a rare beast...and not something whose price can simply be looked up somewhere.
