Hello all,

I was thinking of buying one used. Does anyone have any advice on what to look for when I am checking it out?

Also, what is your opinion of this piano? (touch, sound, etc)

I am learning classical piano and really want an acoustic piano, however because of portability and space issues I have decided to get a digital piano.

My main concern is that if feels like a real piano (as much as possible). My teacher has told me that many students who use digital pianos do not have the same strength in their fingers.

The person is asking 1900.00 Canadian for a one year old piano. What is a good price for it?

Any advice is appreciated!

I have a Yamaha CVP109 clavinova piano and it ran around $6000 plus a year ago with taxes in.

My model as a very good weighting to the keyboard. I tried real 5 and 6 foot grands and this 109 I have comes pretty close to those.

I was originally going to go for the 6 ft ??' grand but I enjoyed playing the clavinova in the store, and it felt so much like the real grand I had changed my mind>

It gave me a rythm section and a whole bunch of great things to use to make a more musical environment that for me just heightens the enjoyment of playing. Be it classical or rockabilly.

I dontknow of the model you speak but for me the Clavinova is far superior ' funwise' and 'enjoyment wise' than a real grand. Without losing the feel of a real one.

But then again Im not a purist.

Johnnie
