Does anybody know if the Yamaha MS101ll speakers, which are powered and have 10 watts, are decent enough to make the P80 digital piano sound good, including the lower notes? I have a very small room, so I dont need huge volume. I know the MS20S are supposed to be terrific, but with a small room if I could save the money I would buy the MS101ll. I cant seem to find them anywhere to listen to them. What about the Roland KC100 amplifier, which seems to be made for keyboards. It is very small, light, and 60 watts. Thanks for any advice

I can't say whether the MS101IIs are sufficient but I can tell you that I do not consider the KC100 as equal to the MS20S, from what I've experienced. (It'shard to believe the MS20S is only 20 watts from the power it puts out).

I use one KC100 with the P-80 and do not like the combination. Sounds terrible. Shrill sometimes and mushy others. You really need two much better

If you're using just one speaker it will sound bad, no matter the quality of the equipment. Running stereo samples, like those in the P80, through mono equipment makes it sound very flat. I agree, though, with your assessment ot the KC100, though my KC300s sound very good in a very large setting.
