Hi, I'm looking at a U3, the U1 is too bright, and the U4 too expensive. THe U3 sounded pretty good as far as I could tell in the dealership. It seems like it could be voiced to be a good classical piano. Thoughts?
What is a good alternative (classical music only)?

Personally, while I think the U3 is a nice piano, even it is too bright for my tastes. You might want to look at the Kawai K-50 or K-60. Or for that matter, the Charles Walter, though I've yet to hear a CW vertical with a satisfying low end.
Too bad Yamaha can't make the U3 sound like a Steinway K-52 upright.
