how tall is it/ if you like it make an offer and negotiate. if it is less than 48" it will be a console or studio. try it and see if you like it. they are a good piano...a bit heavy on the actions but ok.

Thanks for your reply.

It is 50" tall, I try it and like it, but there is little crack on the wood near the bass note and the middle petal has some strange sound. The serial number is 509513, I was told that this used Petrof piano is model 125, is 20 years old. I am thinking it could be older.

The asking price is Canadian Dollars $6,500.- and I don't know how to make a offer, what is the reasonable price? Please help, thank you.

you can do this but my goodness at $6500 you could get a yamaha Ux3 or a kawai us65 52" vertical professional for considerable less.

if you like it that much have a tech check it and make sure it tunes correctly etc. etc. etc.

you know the drill.

I have a feeling the price is about right. I'm looking for a Petro too exactly the same price and 20 yrs old. Love the Petrof. Way better sound than any Yamaha or Kawaii I've ever heard! European pianos are the best sounding!

they have a good tone. i play then especially the larger grand pianos. the touch weight is somewhat stiff. we had a 6'4" recently on consignment, 2006 date. nice.

Hi Miffy,

Hi thanks for contacting me. I am asking for $5000. This is my first piano in the house followed by a 7.3 feet German grand in 2010 and 6.7 feet Kawai grand in 2016. Moderately played by my two children (an hour a day) before they moved on to their own grands, as they are serious enough (one is already professional). Regularly maintained: 3-4 timings a year. I also spent $500 to have a damp chaser installed to main its condition.

I do have the document for the piano as I am the first owner. It is 125 EP. Black elbony. Very carefully maintained. I am asking for $4700, including a $400 dampchaser installed three years ago. Where do you live? I am 45 miles from NYC.
